Back...

I'm back! Yea I know it has been quite sometime...but frankly speaking I got too busy (call it self-made-hectic-routine) to write anything...office work became too hectic and had to work late nights even till early in the morning!, tried to do some freelancing as well but I guess thats too much to handle with a full time job and a full time wife :D and in the end my back pain got too bad (for those who dont know what I am talking about, well its their fault!) and 3 doctors recommended me surgery...kept on doing Istikhara and in in the end I came to know about an ozone oxygen injection (ozonucleolysis...nice word haina? for more info go n search google) thru none other than Maulana Tariq Jamil :P...its being done only at one place in Pakistan i.e. National Hospital and its damn expensive (read it AXE-PENSIVE) it was supposed to be around 100k (wow!) but since I came thru a close ref of the doc (guess who??:P) it ended up at 26k (my precious savings :( )...the room-cum-operation-theatre where I had this injection (yea yea in the back) was really impressive...a wonderful machine which was giving live broadcast of my backbone to the doc n my family sitting outside enjoying it free of cost! I asked the doc before the injection how painful its going to be (I was not afraid but you see wanted to be mentally prepared 'for the worst') and doc was like, 'ohh dun worry...)and when the gas was injected in my back believe you me it was...PAINFUL!!!doc kept on shouting 'relax...body ko dheela choor do' and I was like '@#$@%^&^%*&*@#$' ...

I asked him before, but he dint care and now when I was least prepared for it, and the more I was trying to relax my body the more he kept on injecting the ozone gas...anyways the ordeal ended in few mins and then I had to keep on lying for next 2 hours and then I got the long list of care which I had to do for next 3 months :S...doc thinks that it normally takes 6-8 weeks for real results (right now its the 3rd week)...and then came the eid-of-sacrifice (aho the bakra one!) and since it was my first eid without parents (they are gone 4 hajj) it turned out to be quite an hectic one...taking care of the animals, qurbani, managing the meat, distributing it and what not BUT alas we have forgotten the real essence of this eid...it was NOT meant to be a day where you distribute meat to poor...its supposed to be for a much bigger reason and that is SACRIFCE (QURBANI!) yea a symoblic gesture showing to Allah that I am ready to sacrifice everything (wealth, money, my desires, family,life...) for HIM, the way Prophet Ibrahim(AS) gave a REAL gesture by putting his own son under the knife...but as always this eid had nothing new to give...people sleeping at fajr time (yea yea they were busy buying a bakra, looking for a 'qasai' to take care of it etc), offering Eid prayers and hugging each other 3 times by saying 'Eid Mubarak' (none of them having the least bit of idea what exactly are they congratulating for?? congratulating coz they have a renewed will of sacrifice for Allah or wat?!) and then distributing meat (missing their prayers...yea yea busy in 'social work'), meeting relatives and the list goes on...

even today I just planned to announce my return but luckily I managed to write something AT LAST! someone advised me that instead of just putting my articles/poems here I should try to write about my real life...well that seemed to be a nice suggestion and I hope this was somewhat close to 'reality' :)
